you rub it hard against normal paper. Finally, you put a drop of clear nail
polish on the sanded part - it will spread perfectly, not drip over edges of
cut, and will dry to look like crystal. I love clear nail polish - it always
comes in handy!!!

Yep, learned this trick when I had a darkroom. A great way to make
scratches on negatives invisible. Even works on CDs that won't play right.
