Subject: [alt-beam] Lens Motors

Does anyone know where I can buy some of those lens motors that are so
popular. MG micro used to carry them, but they sold out.

Thanks for the help
Ben

trigger device. I was using 3 IN915 diodes in series. I am waiting for my
1381s to come in.

8782 Sun, 02 Jan 2000 23:56:55 +0100 [alt-beam] The lifespan of a bot? Beam Mailing List Thomas Pilgaard Nielsen Hi beamers,

I just browsed through Tildens Telluride handout and noticed the
following : "a high quality solar-engine that allows the device up to
4000 hours of continuous operation in sunlight.". I also remember
someone on the list asking if anyone has had a bot running for over a
year.

What gets worn out on a bot? Is it the cap? The cell itself? Please
enlighten me.

Thanks in advance.

Thomas
