Sure,
The best place to start is a community college or high-
school electronics course. Second choice would be a mentor/
tutor with similar interests. Thirdly, you might try a few
books from the library:
The Art of Electronics - Horowitz and Hill - Cambridge Press
Getting Started in Electronics - Forest M. Mims III - Radio Shack
. . . or any other beginners' electronics book. You might
consider a local robotics / ham radio / electronics club too.
If you are looking for some 'tips' rather than training, try
breaking the circuit into functional blocks (if the designer
didn't)
