Hello there all!

For all you floks out there who don't know, you can find two of my LEGO/BEA=
M hybrid walkers at

www.geocities.com/frankendaddy/BabyScratchy.html
www.geocities.com/frankendaddy/flibbertyjibbit.html

The LEGO Micromotors are very small and give some pretty good torque. The =
interfacing pulley leaves much to be desired, but nothing a little epoxy ca=
n't cure! They are far from ideal, but they can do the job with some ingen=
uity and good ol' trial & error! J =

My Baby Scratchy walker uses a 9V for it's power supply and the battery wei=
ghs more than the whole 'bot! As far as the aesthetic value of these bots =
goes, they're pretty much in a class by themselves. They look good, but ha=
ve more of a machine-like look to them than most others. Easy to build and=
easy to reconfigure. A good, low-degree-of-frustration first walker.
