3 weeks for my shipment of 1381s to come in. So I
went do to old Rat Shack and picked up a FLEDs and
with is a few minutes I got a FLED engine going. But
for a FLED photovore just make 2 solar engines and
combine them with a trimpot around 100k. I've tried
it before there shouldn't be any reason why it
shouldn't work now. Also FLED photovores are alot
less efficient but are easier to make and alot lot
cooler(their "eyes" blink).

Later!!

Hey Wilf!
WOW!
very very nice.
Bruce, did you apply any of the chirping technology we learned while making
the reverser sound effect for my Walker?
My bot has sound, but for no real reason. (other than "warning! I'm
backing up!)
I can't wait to see where this new spin on things takes us! A beam Chorus
perhaps? So, who's gonna post the first .WAV file of their flock of
Phtovores basking in the sunlight? Make sure that they harmonize now!
