No, no, not at all. Credit should be given. Certainly. But, can we bring in
the lawyers at some later date. Say, when it becomes necessary. That's all.
We have taxed the topic patrol to it's limits, I'm sure. You guys are gonna
have to thicken those skins a little. If we ever meet in person you're gonna
get the full load of the crap I usually have the good sense to delete when I
have a chance to read it first :). This brain is hardwired straight to the
mouth. Usually more spews out than is appropriate. Particularly on topics I
find visceral. It's the main reason my wife no longer allows me to watch the
evening news while she is in the room :).

See ya,
Jim

content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable

Hi everyone,

I've thought about this a couple times, and I'm a bit surprised no one has =
done it. Just thought I'd ask for some input.

A head cicuit looks at the brightest light. Why not change the design of t=
he average 'bot so that the solar panel is in line with the PD's? So that =
the solar cell points at the same thing the PD's point at. That way, where=
ver the brightest light is, you can always be sure that the robot is gettin=
g the most out of it's light source. Especially if it can't go any farther=
toward the light because of terrain.

Then you could go on to design a bot that doesn't always run toward the lig=
ht. It can have some other purpose, but still be solar powered.
