when you make a solarengine is the plus on the solarcell supposed to be
connected to the plus or the minus on the cap?

up some. Does active surplus have a web site at all or is it just a small
local store? Anyway, as for your local source for a MC34164-3, I wouldn't
bet on it. That's a more specialized part so it would probably only be
avaible mail order. I know you'd much rather just pick it up somewhere like
at radio shack, but as Bolt I think talked about before some of the parts
for BEAM are very hard to come across. You'll probably have to get it from
digikey.

I'm looking for a local source for Motorola MC34164-3 Micro power
Undervoltage Sensing Circuit for the Chloroplast SE other than Digikey
(although a great supplier).
Any help would be appreciated
