Little puffs of air... Ever been to Disney land??? all over the park they
have these nice little plant islands... most have fire flies flying around
randomly that come on at dusk... the "fireflies" are little light bulbs on a
long stand of piano wire... They are randomized and kept on the move by
little puffs of air... Hope this stimulates some ideas :) and if it dose I
want to see the pictures :)))

It seems to me that there are a lot of us seeking fame from our ideas...
That is not me!!! I'm in it for the fun... I'm a free thinker... And I just
love seeing how my concept is changed through some one ells's eyes/hands :)

Yes, I think you are strange. But then, I like strange. As a matter of fact,
I'm strange too :). Actually, I see it this way. Ideas are good. Ideas start
the process. But, a finished, beautiful prototype is the real meat and
potatoes. Once an idea becomes a working reality, then it exists as a thing.
I'll give you an example. Many people have discussed the idea of a water
skipper. No one has built a working prototype as yet. The reason being that
the idea doesn't work out in reality. The problem of keeping a top heavy
device upright in a fluid medium is much more complex to make work than the
simple idea would suggest. So, if someone makes a working prototype who gets
the kudos? Someone (God knows who) who has an abstract idea, or the one who
slaved and sweated out a working concept? So, I have this idea for a BEAM
hunter killer self replicating battle droid. If anyone builds one, remember,
it's my idea! Ideas are great, but they are meaningless if never built. Just
my 2 cents, which on this list, has a much deflated value.

See ya,
Jim

Hi all!

I was looking at the Solarfly in the newest Mondotronics catalog (www.rob=
otstore.com) and notoced that there are what appears to be IR emitters wher=
e the eyes should be. Is this what is there, or am I looking at it with an=
uninformed eye? =

Also, I found an old motion activated switch from about 10 years ago and =
was wondering if anyone has experimented with using pyroelectric sensors in=
BEAM beasties. Shout out if you have or have ideas.

Thanx!
