Subject: [alt-beam] Gearmotors/motorized trimpots
I was just looking on Electronic Goldmine, and I found a motorised
potentiometer for $3.49 (page 4 of catalog), as well as a small gearmotor
for $1.49 (page 65, along with other "Robot Motors"). I don't know a lot
about motors so if anyone is interested they might want to check that out.
There is also a "Robot Motors" GoldPak that has three motors of different
sizes for $2.49. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Hey Beamers! While my e-mail address is different. It's me, Dennison
Bertram, in the flesh. I've been definitly 'out of the scene' for awhile.
The reason? Well, I'm in college now, and you know, there just isn't the:
A: time
b: Money
C: Space
To build robots. So se va'. Anyway, bots aside, it's good to be back on the
list. Anything new in particular? My last bot built was a four legged
walker, a Stryder clone with SMD hextiles. I got it working REALY well back
in the day. Right now it's been shuffled around some, and it's broken. And I
don't have any interest in putting it back together. Hey, Mark T didn't
publish his book while I was gone did he? :-)
Anyway remebering all the chaos brought about from empty, senseless posts,
check this out if you want the ultimate in BEAM inspiration.
