Subject: [alt-beam] pshead project and 3M3D circuit


Hi folks!
i just wanted to write the list and Thank Wilf and all the others for the
help!
i have the solar version werking with Wilf's 1.1 circuit, but all i have is
some 4700uf caps and the burst of power are kinda short.
so I think I'm gonna stick with the batteries.
All i have to do now is redo my "dome" by placing the LDRs lower and I'm
all finished! It works great! (Thanks agin Wilf!)

As for my next project, i just gotta take a crak at the 3M3D circuit Wilf
sent a few days ago! the pause betweens pulses looks interesting and quite
versitile with the resistor values. Has there been a Beam Hexapod before?
I think I have the leg motion figgured out:
1st pulse: middle leg assembly goes down on left, provides Lift to right side
2nd pulse: right legs move forward
3rd pulse: left legs move back (pulling the bot forward)
4th,5th, 6th pulses are opposite
is this right?
I heard a Hexapod could turn on a dime.. but having never seen a Hex in
motion, i just can't quite grok how you would make this happen!
any thoughts?
