Subject: [alt-beam] PSHead Circuit Ver. 1.1

hi folks!
well, Darrell Johnson circuit is werkin fine with all the solar stuff off
and switched to batteries,
but i wanna move on and check out the improvments made.

Wilf posted this circuit (ver 1.1) a while ago, I tried it and couldn't
get it to work, but i think i was confused about the component layout.
it originally had diodes that were connected to pin 3 and R2
and to +

i need to know if after removing them, do i still connect 3 to r2 as shown?

and also on the trimpots....
(forgive my ignorance here)
does pin 17(r1) connect to
1. the middle pin on the pot or
2. to both the middle pin and to pin 15, or
3. to middle pin and the lead from the middle of the LDRs

also if some one could clear up r2 for me...
thanx!
i think thats it!

The middle pin of the pot is called the wiper and in schematic terms it
is the line with the arrow. The other two pins on the pot can be
switched, doesn't matter which one goes where.

Therefore,
Pin 17 connects only to the middle pin of r1 (And of course also to the
capacitor).

R2 is more complicated... The middle pin and another pin of R@ are
connected to 5 and 3 and R3, while the left over pin is connected to 13.

GOt it? :)
