The decoding of the video requires the proper software. I can play some
MPEG and AVI videos with my version of Quicktime on my Mac, but I can't
view other formats. The AVI file was encoded with a format that some
software doesn't recognize.

It didn't work in Hotmail, but I've noticed that sometimes the links go all
weird when viewed in Hotmail. I opened a new window and typed out the link
manually. It worked. Bat-a-bing, bat-a-boom!

good old version G2 works fine.

file decoded by the Indeo Video 5 driver. As you suggested, W95 users can
right click mouse on file, select properties and then preview.

Thank you Justin,
That was really cool!!!

Here is a little circuit idea that you can use as a cheap substitute for
photo diodes without sacrificing sensitivity. Any of the four combinations
of clear, amber or green LEDs and NPN/PNP transistors will all work equally
well for beam applications but are not suitable for high frequencies. They
are shown here in pairs for the photo bridge configuration.

enjoy
