The reason i want 9V is because i use those LEGO gearmotors; same with
Richard Caudle. They are the most effective at 9V. I also use the 7805
volatge regulator somtimes.

Hi Ed,
If you mean in the solar powered Power Smart Head, I used a BG Micro motor.

7714 Mon, 15 Nov 1999 23:37:06 GMT [alt-beam] AGAIN - BICORE POWER beam@sgiblab.sgi.com "Mike Kulesza" Well, if i try 9V, will it kill the 3906/4s in the hbridge? if it only the
chip thats prone to danger, than i might as well try and if somthing, change
the chip. I remember running a HC14 under 9V continuously.

7715 Mon, 15 Nov 1999 18:42:39 -0500 Ceramic cutting BEAM Richard Caudle
Hi all!

I'm making a BEAM Angel tree toppper for my Christmas tree and have run into
a snag. Does anyone know if it's possible to cut ceramic with a Dremel or
some such like thing? I've taken a flapping mechanism out of one of those
flapping bird toys and attached a LEGO right angle gear to it. I need to
carve out the back of the head-and-shoulders bit to make the wings fit. Any
suggestions? I gave some thought to putting a head on it, but I thought it
would be too creepy...

Don't want to traumatize the bunchkins! (or me late at night slaving over
the computer!).
