yeah... i am making a solar powered prism rotator for
a guy... although it is just a solar cell and a
gearmotor, it is kinda kool.

Jim,
I was wondering what kind of motor did you use?

basic PS Head design to drive a 3rd motor which
controls steering...then have a regular Solarengine w/
2 motors in series and touch sensors to short one or
the other out in the case of it touches something. I
know that the 3 motor design has been used by someone
(can't remember who) and the single solarengine w/ 2
motors and 2 touchsensors has also been used by
someone(once again, can't remember).

Just an alternate phototropic design using 2 separate
solarengines...take it for what its worth.

content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable

Hi all!

I'm making a BEAM Angel tree toppper for my Christmas tree and have run int=
o a snag. Does anyone know if it's possible to cut ceramic with a Dremel o=
r some such like thing? I've taken a flapping mechanism out of one of thos=
e flapping bird toys and attached a LEGO right angle gear to it. I need to=
carve out the back of the head-and-shoulders bit to make the wings fit. A=
ny suggestions? I gave some thought to putting a head on it, but I thought=
it would be too creepy...

Don't want to traumatize the bunchkins! (or me late at night slaving over =
the computer!).
