Subject: [alt-beam] New Hackable toy on the market this x-mas
Tyco has released a micro version of their Rebound. It used to be a popular
robotics conversion subject. The new versions seem to be even better suited
for conversions. The new micro rebound uses 3 AA batteries for power, and
sports differental steering.
If you haven't seen one of these, they are amazing. I dropped one down a
flight of steps, and it kept going, imagine my response!
I think I may modify the new ones for a Bot board, and perhaps make a BEAM
version, wich is Bi-core driven. Just wanted to share this with the group.
Seems to be a lowcost, easily hackable toy.
