Hi Jason,
It's a regular old 1381-J solar engine (sorry Wilf, I know you were thinking
Chloroplast). The cap is a 4700 uF. I must say that the behavior of this head
is very different from a Bicore head. It sits there, as if not working until
a brighter light source catches it's attention. It isn't just swinging back
and forth constantly. It almost seems to know that there is something
interesting to see and turns toward it. The solar version is a little slow,
depending on light levels, with short pauses between movements. Quite an
amazing little circuit. Perfect for walkers. Directionality with little
current draw. I love it.
