soooooo....
connect Vc of the motor driver chip (a 74ALS245)
to the 1381? Not sure WHICH pin...
how about to pin 20 of the 74HC240 ?
i was thinkin that should only be "live" when the trigger says "go"

on the schematic pin 20 is connected directly to + so that wouldn't werk...
