I'm sure I read that to get the best from a cap it should be conditioned by
reverse charging it before use! Could it have been referring to electrolytic
caps or do you think it is completely untrue?
I also heard that there is a world shortage of tantalum caps. Perhaps they
stopped manufacturing to improve them.
