Oh yeah, lots of difference there. The 4.7F is 10 times larger. I think you
can get them in the flat version. I know because I ordered them from Digikey
by mistake. I think a .33F may be available in the longer AL type of case.
The 1F is an easy one to find in the AL version, and takes about 4 minutes to
charge in full sun with a 24x33 solar cell and J trigger. You can figure
loosely from that. A .33F would take 1/3 of the time to charge with a third
of the power. The .47F would take just under 2 minutes to charge. If you are
really needing a .47F, I think Solarbotics sells them.

I have just joined up with the beam mailing list and was wondering how
many Australian beamers there was? I am from Melbourne and would love to
hook up with some other people to swap ideas and most of all any
information on local component suppliers....seems i still have to buy a
lot of stuff from solar robotics.
