Actually it reminded me of a TV show in which they were showing a
paraplegic dog being fitted with a specially designed harness with
wheels. Also if you turn it around the uCrawler can be compared to a
toddler walking with a (special 1 wheeled) walker.

And as someone has said, I would like to see some pictures too.

Thanks

Dilip

I may be able to borrow a digital camera and take some pics in the next few
days. I will convert the uCrawler article to HTML and add the pics together
with a short tutorial on my ideas for writing articles to be posted on
Richard Claudle's Zine pages. I should mention that unlike Tilden's and many
other beamers bots, my creations are no work of art. They are strictly
utilitarian platforms to test my ideas.

I've been looking for the motor/gearbox combo from Power Wheels to make a R=
ide-on Walker for my kids. 6VDC Motors. Need big batteries, though. An i=
nteresting thought. Maybe you could have a large walker that is a robeast =
of burden, pulling the kids in a wagon or plowing fields. A BEAM 'bot with=
a function? Perish the thought! ;)
