Thanks but ...

I don't compare myself to Mark since my involvement and treatment of the
subject is really quite superficial by academic standards.
Besides I have yet to meet the big guy and thank him for getting me started.

I was born in Poland, but live in Canada...

Where abouts??
I need gear motors!!!

What's the difference between a master/slave bicore walker (2 motor) and a 2 motor microcore walker? I've asked this before I think and someone said that the bicore moves both motors at once or something like that. huh???

I have only experimented with microcores before in my walkers, but I plan on making a bicore walker next. I'm waiting to get MOTORS!!!!!

Dave, when do you expect to have servos, and how much? Or is it too early to tell?

Another question. Is there any more info about the MECHANICS of walkers? I've been reading a lot of good stuff as a result of Jason's questions. Has anyone written anything about this? Wilf?

Thanks.

Chris

PS Wilf - Cool crawler!

You are absolutely right. I sent that to the list when I honestly didn't
mean to. I suppose you can imagine the horrid feeling in the pit of my
stomach when I realized that I'd pushed the wrong button.

However, you may flame me all you wish but I rather doubt that you can
argue with what I wrote.

74LSTTL won't work with standard microcore circuit components but if that is
all you have and want to get your feet wet then try this untested but
"should work" LS uCORE with build-in autoPNC:

good luck
