Subject: [alt-beam] spiders- there not just for breakfast anymore....
this was posted to the Dallas robotic group's list.
polarized light would be a very simple way to give a bot more sense of it's
environment cheaply. maybe not for any complicated navigation, but a bot
could easily be biased to prefer one light source over another in a multi
choice environment, or direction of travel, etc...kinda like these spiders
