Subject: [alt-beam] You wanted Walker leg info?

...here it is. I took 10 minutes and generated this PDF of just the leg
layout pages. It's not listed on the website, so here's the link:

brain cells per each muscle we have. It may be a form of biasing to turn
the robot. You CAN turn a 2 motor walker, but it's very sensitive, and
it helps to be well balanced in the center. I myself would love to know.
It's also possible that he wired some of the 240s as motor drivers too.

soldering? What are the alternatives (wire wrapping, breadboard,
others)? I don't have a dedicated work space, and it's kind of a pain for
me to set up for soldering. These techniques may also help beginners
(debug the circuit instead of debugging the results of mistakes made while
soldering). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

R2D2 on stilts. This he had in 1990 for the demonstrations at the
Ontario Science Museum for the IEEE MicroMouse Contest sponsored by the
University of Waterloo IEEE Student Branch and co-chaired by Mr. David
Stampe and myself. Mark Tilden and I later co-chair the IEEE/BEAM
Robotic Olymipics and MicroMouse Competitions. I will try to dig up
some pictures.

broadcasting system, but there is a satellite version and each 'local
market' has it's own station. I can not find either of these shows in
the satellite listings or the listing for the broadcast station in my
local area. Any clarifications? Anyone?
I would really like to see one or both of these shows!
Thanks, Paul

Front ones could be narrower because the motor he's using doesn't have as
much torque, and can't lift the body if the legs are that long. The
distances don't have to be the same, but the balance does matter quite a bit.

Lets's see. 2 for bicores, one for reverse muxing, one for eyes/sensor
mounting, one for battery/PM2 module connections, and one just to even out
the symmetry. Easy to hit 6!
