Actually, you can increase the speed of Loader simply by adding some
wheels to those motors.
From the descriptions, it sounds as if you have plenty of torque from the
motors, so direct shaft drive is probably not needed (usually is not needed
as long as your not using pager motors).
I'd try to cut the erasers off of a set of No. 2 pencils, and push a pin through
them to make a hole for the motor shafts. The larger diameter of the erasers
may make much more efficient use of the motors torque.
