Subject: [alt-beam] BG motors

Is their anyone out there willing it give up a few of
their BG motors?? I'm willing to trade some TPMs for
them or in you want I'll pay. So anyone?? Come on
someone out there must have a few BG motors they can
spear. If you are interested just give me a haller.
Laters All!!

PS: is it just me or has the list been very quiet for
past few days?

gaits, what I find intersting is how much a 2 motor walker can do.

note that there a alot of variables like motor angles, leg shape, weight of
walker, speed of motors, surface that walkers on, ect

I found that coupled bicores have more gaits then microcore, could be I have
more exp with bicores, or gaits have to do with the master-slave
architexture.

anyway I have a walker that when the bump sensor is hit it will back up a
step then basically turn on the spot, then continue. Has to be on a smooth
floor, pure fluke, but it works out nicely.

and another that by tuning it will strafe (mostly) sideways

on most of my walkers I have used springs as a restoring force mayhap this
is what causes some of the odd gaits, but as I said there are *alot* of
variables

I don't think anyone would give up BG motors becuse they are extreamly rare
to find(as u can tell) and quite useful.
