Subject: [alt-beam] LED Screen Anyone?
anyone ever do any work with LED screens?
i have two 6" ones (VDC) and i was thinkin of
trying something.
i know nothing about what kind of driver
or component board would be needed,
i want:
to run a small floppy drive
display a txt file from the floppy disk on the LCD screen.
would i need a whole computer (mother board, vid cards etc.)
to do this?
or is it possible to do this from a Stamp II or PIC?
OR: arn't they selling small XT (comparable) like computers
that are small sized now?
before i get flamed....
yes, this is for a robot application.
