Subject: [alt-beam] Re: blinking bicore
I too would like to solarize a bicroe based robot. I've got now
expirience with solar powered bicore devices. I realy have no clue what
kind of capacitor is ideal, or if the bicore recieves power at all times
and only the motor uses the cap, or what??? I simply have never done
this before. if anyone has recomendations as to how the SE and Bicore
are connected, please, do tell!

5854 Wed, 25 Aug 1999 15:45:03 +0200 [alt-beam] Broken CDROM: Laser diodes & Motors arno.jansen@superconsult.nl BEAMers,
So I got two broken CDROM drives. And collected 4 electormotors, all seem to
be the same. They are usable I heard. Right?
And what about the laserdiodes? I read a part of the laser article posted
earlier, but I don't see how a laserdiode (man, they are small!!!) can be
used as part of a bot. Well, I suppose as some sort of vision system or so.
But has anybody done it before?
Cya,
Arno
