If you go to the "used" computer shops you might be able to find a few 5
1/4" floppy drives. They have small unipolar (usually) stepper motors in
them. I picked up a bunch of drives for 1.50 US a piece. Not bad.

I am currently woking on a project that uses a microcore to drive one of the
previously mentioned motors. Does anyone know of a page or paper that
addresses using a microcore or bicore to drive a stepper motor? If so then
please let me know. If not then I will do the research and work involved
and post the info if anyone is interested. Just let me know.
