Thanks Rob, I have recently crushed my dead cd-drive and indeed I found two
electromotors. But the motors from pagers are such nice small thingies, and
I have 1 and need one more for my photovore…

Maybe I can make a symet from the cdmotor. Just what exactly is meant by a
symet? A bot with just 1 motor and a solar cell???

Arno,
I don't normally answer anyone on the listen much but I can answer yours
so ....
You can find very nice little motors in CD drives that move the head
backwards and forwards. Someone on the list tried them and found the
ones they had were better than expensive ones! I got a few from a
surplus place but they must be easy to get find in dead drives.
There are also some nice coils and magnets to point the laser beam but I
don't have an idea for them yet.
