But then once the robot got there it wouldn't be the darkest
part of the room any more, the side that the robot just came
from would be the new dark spot. The robot would just go
back and forth, or worse yet, wander aimlessly because the
location of the darkest spot is constantly moving. The
result is a feedback loop between the robots behavior
and its sensory input. Not necessarily a bad thing
if your actual goal isn't to just light the darkest spot.
