Subject: [alt-beam] Funny Bicore

content-type: text/plain;

In the "Almost Complete Walker" schematic on Ian's site, the suspended part
of the master/slave bicore is configured differently than what I expected.
Instead of connecting the inputs of the inverters, the resister connects the
outputs. It looks to me that this effectively creates a Nu (verses Nv)
suspended bicore. Obviously it works, since many walkers have been built
from this circuit.

The FAQ mentions that the Nu can be superior in sensor circuits, since it
preprocesses the input. However, it never hints that Nu neurons can be used
in a bicore, suspended or otherwise. My question is whether there are any
advantages or disadvantages to this layout.
