Yeah, give them a try! Cellular phones place some very high current spikes
on the batteries, probably an excellent source!
The Ni-MHD packs are, well, tricky. They are much like Ni-Cad cells, only
with much higher power density. But the recharging process is tricky.
If your not totally comfortable measuring current, these are not what you
want
to play with. (they can explode)
