So the short answer is yes. It is safe to hook all 4 reverse circuits to a
single switch. But.... it is not likely the most efficient solution. If you
plan to enter Chiu's contest then don't give too much detail away. But here
is a generic question: Are you using these 4 reversers with single master
multiple slave bicores? Have you considered James Wilson's suggestion of
using XOR (74HC86) gates?
