I'm not so sure. There has been a small revolution in BEAM in the last few
months. People are starting to express their own individual opinions and
approaches. I would say a year or so ago, many of these topics would have
been shoved aside in favor of the BEAM Godlet hard line. Mr. Tilden's last
note to the list indicating that we just were not smart enough to do anything
constructive backfired tremendously. As Zoz stated, it gave us a free reign.
I think you will see some new life come into these critters very soon since
our collective heads are not firmly planted up Mr. Tilden's butt anymore.
Just look at the circuits introduced almost daily by Wilf. Consider the Power
Smart Head. It is a much better approach and it came from the list. People
are already building the thing (myself included). An actual better circuit,
designed and built without the help of Tilden or the approval of the Godlets.
Amazing! Unprecedented! Hey, Mark T. how about another letter telling us what
dumbasses we are so we can solve that scalability problem for you? You just
can't beat negative reinforcement.
Jim
