The idea is to make such behaviours happen by design rather than
accident, but I haven't the foggiest how that might be achieved.
And everybody else appears to be just as much in the dark, so far.

So do I, also with a background in electronics. I still say there
is (much) room to improve BEAM in the above respect. But all of a
sudden, after all talk of `advanced' BEAM, everything must stay
just as it is. Change! Innovation! The Horror!
