Uumm, this was not an attack on you or your ideas. And if you want to discuss
who has the harder time with that sort of thing, I'll have to hold up my hand
as well. The option offered by two of our esteemed partners in crime seemed
to be a viable middle ground. If you uncover the "magic" and do it in
combination with the chip style schematic you have an easy build as well as
an opportunity to learn. One could even say that it would make the learning
even easier. One of the more difficult things to understand is the
relationship of the inverters inside of the chip itself and how they
physically hook up to the rest of the circuit. The dual approach would solve
this quite nicely. I think you need to realize that the list has grown and
diversified. It's not just the elite (yak) anymore.
