As far as my experiments go, it can be done, but you
need a hugh cap, something over 1F. I had alot of
sucsess with 2, 1F caps running the entire bot, it
could seek light like any 2 SE photovore, but it took
forever to charge. Really not something for solar.
However, myself and someone else on the list are
working on smaller versions of stiquito. Mine from
guitar wire, and a PCB frame. Waiting to get some
really thin muscle wire. Let you know how it turns
out.
