Not quite! I send attachments all the time from my Mac to PCs. Some
people simply send PICT or SIT files that are useless on PCs. People
need to convert files to GIF or JPG. BMP and PICT are large, bulky, and
platform specific. It ain't the computer. It's the sender.

I have seen messages larger than some small image files. I think it's
more of a matter of image size and quality. 10 K seems decent to me. It
seemed decent on my old computer as well.

Most pictures though realy do belong on a web page, but I think a small
file like a schematic is just fine on the list (again, saved as a
propper small file)
