No. Step size and torque do in no way depend on the wheel diameter,
because the motor shaft drives the *outside* of the wheel, which
`drives' the road; step size is equal to what you get with the
motor shaft *directly* on the road.
A larger wheel does however have the advantage of handeling uneven
terrain much better than the motor shaft or a small wheel. A good
sized rubber-tyred idler is a great performance-improver.
