Hi James,
The problem you are having is with the torque strength of pager motors, i.e.,
they have none. If you put ANY kind of wheel on the shaft, you must raise the
capacitance very high. I put two 4700uF caps in Trundle, and he still takes
small steps. The wheel on him is the same diameter as the pager motor. In
your set up, you are better off to remove the wheels and run the bot on the
motor shafts. Or, you can stick about 5000 more uF's on your capacitor bank
and put up with a longer charge time.
