I sorry. That wasn't as clear as it couldn't have been. I was referring to the
sub-standard transistors I got from Radio Shack, which quite literally gave me
no end of problems. As soon as the ones came in from DigiKey, however, my
little trymet took off like a charm. (A *very* slow charm, but a charm
nonetheless)
All the Solarbotics stuff I've gotten has worked just fine.

Yeah, I use Digikey for everything I can. If you know somewhere beside
Solarbotics that sells decent solar cells, however, I'm sure the everyone list
would be happy to heard about it.
