It took me a while to find the place, but the local plastic fabricating
shop had all kinds of this stuff - plus Lexan/Lucite/Plexiglass, high
density polyethylene, ABS, and lots more. Best of all, I told them I
just wanted a lot of small pieces, so they pointed me at their scrap
bin, guessed at the quantity I picked out, and divided by 5. I got what
I wanted at a fraction of the price, and they got some money for their
scrap for the cost of writing up an invoice.
It never hurts to try out a small manufacturing place for this kind of
stuff.
