You bet thats what I've been doing!

Say, it seems that my digital camera has much too low a frame rate to capture
this innovative form of motion thing I've got going here.

If I send you a NTSC VHS tape and you convert it into a digital format, what will
the resulting frame rate be? If the video drops frames, this things movements look

totally impossible and non-sensical, almost like clay-mation on heavy drugs.

I dont think I can capture it with my USB camera, based on preliminary tests.
But its cool enough already that I can easily borrow a VHS camcorder to make
the videos. I noticed the mention of tapes on the contest page, so I thought I'd
start asking now....

Would it be best of everyone's videos had the same frame rates?
