Hola...
Just so you know who I am, I am Jason Jones, new to the whole BEAM thing
etc... Here's the info for the site...
you can FTP to:
ftp.herpworld.com / 205.139.34.15
username: beamzine
password: magellan (mail me if you want something a bit more secure)
currently I have beamzine.amoeba.net DNS'd and ready to go...
www.beamzine.com will be up and running probably tomorrow or the next day
whenever the nic gets to doing it... they have been real slow the past few
months...
I can setup Email addresses @beamzine.com for correspondence, just let me
know what ones you want, like webmaster@beamzine.com (already setup, same
user/pass as ftp) maybe submissions@beamzine.com ( for submissions etc) ..
just lemme know I can setup as many as needed.
some details on the server itself:
Windows NT based webserver, can use PERL and some real nice SQL extensions
built in... All CGI has to be run thru me, due to security reasons, dont
want someone getting access because of a poorly written app. thats about
it... If you think of anything you can email me at beam@amoeba.net. If you
need any graphics designed, or some help with HTML, let me know.. I've been
writing HTML professionally now for over 4 years, and graphic arts for 8 or
so... Just lemme know if you need some help..
