Subject: [alt-beam] RIP: My Dearly Departed Soldering Iron
I think I broke some sort of world record or something. I blew my
soldering iron in only 3 months!!! My good one too! AHHHHHH!!! This week
is getting more and more annoying!!!
The day I decide... Hmm... I think I'll finish Spyder and work on
Reversers and do all sorts of cool stuff I've never done before... and
pzzt!!! the heating element burns itself up!!! ARRRRGGGG!!!
I kept wondering why the thing wasn't actualy bonding the solder to anything.
Just my luck!!! To think, I was more worried about solder splashing on
my legs! I sure know how to worry about the wrong thing. I guess it'll
give me time to order the needed parts!
... Well... I'm sure Mark Tilden and Dave and a lot of other people here
have blown an iron in only 3 months.
Hehe! I can just see it. Have a rack of irons like a drummer has spare
sticks!!! (:
