I built a Herbie and it works very well as a line follower. Not perfect, but
very well. I used gear motors for mine, so it won't set any land speed records
but it is very sensitive to changes in the ambient light and able to track a
1/4" black line on white paper. In any case, it is terrific at tracking light!
