Subject: [alt-beam] thoughts about tilden's show
Dear List,
the show was interesting, especially that part abotu the robot called
"Cog" the one that looks like the upperbody of a human that learned by
watching humans mvoement.
Of course Tildens part was great, I noticed he had more time than any
other single roboticist except maybe the one who built pogostick
robots.
While Tilden's part was a great inspiration for me it really didnt
offer anythign really new, I had seen all of those bots in operation.
However I had my entire family, including grandparents and cousins who
think I am crazy, watch that part, and they began to understand the
basics of BEAM.
I hope everyone enjoyed it.
