Well BEAM is kinda cool.
I like a lot but as someone who is freshly out of "beginners" shoes and into
my own "novice" shoes. I started in "normal" bots and albe it I don't have
mindstorms I feel that with there reusable platform that LEGO is the way to
go. you can get an under standing of mechanics, electronics and programming
time and time again compared to the BEam Kits one time use. as well as force
use to use your imagination to build your own bot's not something that some
guy dreamed up.

this is just my feeling.
