Well, sorta...
ECG123A is a substitute for the common 2N2222 NPN transistor, which will
work in a 1381 SE. Quite well actually.
But if you asked for 3904's, then you ought to get 3904's. They are real
common.

Thats a 2n3904 made by Motorolla, no problem there.

Not of your looking for a PNP, but they should work fine as the motor
driver transistor in a 1381 SE.
