Dumb question: how much current is required to (a) handle the input signal
and (b) source/sink of the driver? Eventually, doesn't one want to
graduate to low R(on) FETs or (horrors!) even relays? Does anyone have a
rule-of-thumb as to what sort of technology you'd use given certain
parameters? Couldn't someone develop a rough chart of this info with, oh,
say prices in the rightmost column?
